- JJodyEssex •2 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoWe were not asked if we had any allergies by our waitress ( we had a GF diner with us) We’re not asked if we wanted anymore drinks during our meal. The food was very nice although my gravy was very salty. We had 4 different serving staff attend to us, maybe they were changing over shifts.More infoThe Bull BrentwoodPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Brentwood•4.5

- GGiovannaBrighton •3 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 12, 2025We were celebrating a joint family birthday and I had travelled from Sussex to come to the Olde Dog for the first time. We all had roast dinners which were absolutely delicious but could have been served a bit warmer. The starters were very good, crispy prawns and whitebait. The whitebait were plump and cooked perfectly with a lovely crisp coating. The pork crackling was excellent and all the vegetables were cooked really well. The pub was very cold but the staff explained about the issues with the boiler and alternative heaters were provided and it did warm up eventually. I look forward to coming back again! Thank you.More infoThe Olde Dog InnPrice: Moderate• British• Brentwood•4.6
