Best Fine Dining Restaurants in New Tampa

Decided to take my roommate out tonight for a Christmas dinner at Sacred Pepper and we both enjoyed the dinner immensely. I have eaten here many times and never have been disappointed. It's the best place around for the ambiance, the awesome wine/cocktails, delicious food, and for their exceptional service staff. My roommate had the Chicken Burrata dinner and he said the chicken was vey juicy and flavorful. And he loved the warm orzo pasta it came with. I had the seasonal Cod dinner and it is already one of my favorites. And it came with cheesy potatoes and green beans, And their bread is another special treat that you cant help yourself to. My server "Adam" was so friendly, attentive, efficient, and he made sure our Christmas dinner was very special and memorable. My roommate was really impressed and can't wait to try more dinner entrees at Sacred Pepper.

Service was great as were our server's recommendations. French Onion soup was superb. If you order brussel sprouts, I highly recommend them flash fried. Choice is either flash fried or roasted. It is family style sides, so 1 order of the sprouts were sufficient for 3 or 4 people. We didn't order the Mac-n-Cheese but several tables around us did and it looked great. Bread basket has 6 rolls (2 of 3 different varieties), which was a lot for 2 people. Since it is a menu item and not complimentary, it would be best with 3 or more people. We each ordered 8oz filet and were pleased. Try the Birkin's butter with it!!! Overall, not a cheap dinner, but it was a great meal that we didn't need to drive down to Westshore or South Tampa for. Will def return when the opportunity arises.

The Feast of the Seven Fishes was a real delight. Nothing like anything else we've ever even seen. Sword fish and tuna carpaccio! I've never heard of such delights, and the octopus salami was absolutely amazing. All the courses were fantastic. The sauce on the mussels I could drink like soup, and the lobster risotto was so creamy and delicious, topped with a perfectly seared pair of the largest sea scallops I've ever seen. This was the most unique and ambitious take on the Seven Fishes meal I've seen. We had a great recommended wine pairing as well, a white Bordeaux. My sincerest compliments to Chef Chris for putting on such a wonderful event.

A top chef serving only the finest food. Going there for 17 years and hard to believe it gets better and better each time. Massimo never disappoints with his Italian and continental master pieces. His servers have been there from day one and that says loads about this romantic gem.

The Rooster and the Till is an absolute gem. Small and intimate neighborhood vibe. The food is eclectic and excellently prepared. Service was outstanding as well. Our goal was to find a restaurant that steps well outside the typical American fare… The Rooster and the Till really hit the mark.
