Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Longboat Key

Ambience and view are excellent, food as well - early bird menu was great value. Service was a little off and website/menu/etc doesn’t mention that happy hour is only the bar area, otherwise would have been 5 stars.

We sat outside on a beautiful sunny day on Pier 22’s fabulous patio on the river. My 2 friends and I were celebrating our 70th birthdays together. Our lunches were truly delicious and the presentation was beautiful. We loved our delicious Peach and Blackberry Sangria’s. Topped by the views on the water which are so serene. The restaurant treated us to an excellent piece of birthday cake which was excellent and so pretty. Thank you Pier 22 for making our 70th birthday celebrations very special!!

The restaurant is in a old house on Long Boat Key. There is a big parking lot in the rear. The restaurant is much bigger than it looks. Enjoyed an elegant dinner with my wife. We had excellent drinks, martinis and old fashion. The fried green tomatoes were very good with a slight spicy taste. We enjoyed out Waldorf salad before dinner. I had the house speciality, the duck. It was really good, probably one of the best I've had before and I love duck. My wife greatly enjoyed her veal. We were so full we skipped the desert experience on the second floor. We have heard it is like the experience at Burns in Tampa but will need to experience on our next visit.

We had a nice dinner with an attentive waitress. Pleasant atmosphere. The Burrata was delicious and the bisque had nice texture and good lobster meat. We had the Parpadelle with crab and Alfredo - the lump crab meat was plentiful in a flavorful sauce. Highly recommend as well as the Veal Massimo which was very rich and came with veggies. The sauce was delicious. Finally we had the lemoncello cake with raspberry sauce - simply divine. The whipped cream is worth it alone on the side. Chef came by to check on us as well. We had a lovely time thank you.

Nice table location inside. Our meals were wonderful and the side dishes were great!! Waiter was very pleasant and efficient. Was definitely a premiere steakhouse!
