- RRonaldvipSan Francisco Bay Area •25 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI have eaten many meals at Zuni over decades and the quality has been amazingly consistent over that time. It’s often just what I want to eat. I had a baguette steak that reminded me of France in the 1970s. The prices have definitely increased. It’s not out of line with similar places, but it used to seem cheaper than other places of equivalent quality. No longer. It’s every bit as expensive as other fine dining places if more relaxed than some.More infoZuni CafePrice: Expensive• Modern European• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.6
- IIllyaSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoCelebrated our anniversary at O - and we enjoyed every moment of it. From personalized menus, to the attention of the staff and quality of the food. We had a 9 course meal and it took us from 7 pm to 10.30 pm to go through all of the portions. The portions are small l but by the end we were full - even though I skipped a lunch before coming there. The restaurant gave us a small cake at the end of the meal to mark the special occasion but we had to get it to go as we were full.More infoO' by Claude Le TohicPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Downtown / Union Square•4.8

Attentive, helpful service (Raffi was super-helpful with navigating the menu), lots of choices, and quick service. We got the XLB, sea bass, and crispy noodles with chicken, and really, I can't think of a single negative thing to say about any of them. Dessert was the wonderful mandarin brownie with lychee ice cream. All in all, a wonderful meal and a great time out for my bride and I.More infoChina LivePrice: Moderate• Chinese• Chinatown•4.7
- JJosephvipSan Francisco Bay Area •27 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024Fairly innovative cuisine and good presentation. Food quality was just Ok for the price ($180 for so-called 11-course). Dessert was lackluster. Syrup tasted like cough meds!More infoHed 11Price: Very Expensive• Thai• Western Addition•4.6
- TTiffanySan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024From the moment you walk through the doors, you're met with a beautiful modern room that is perfectly decorated with Japanese flower arrangements. The persimmons hanging down from one of the tables is stunning. Every server seemed to be doing a perfectly choreographed dance, as they moved across each table delivering beverages, different courses, or simply providing new utensils. Definitely an experience that I won't forget. The little bites were small in size but big in flavor. They were all perfectly plated with such attention to detail. My favorite dish, one that the chef wasn't sure about, was the omurice. I joked that I was having a "Ratatouille" moment with that first bite. Being taken back to childhood and just eating a bowl of rice for lunch. Everyone was so knowledgeable and so very friendly. Natalie, our main server was so sweet and such a blast to be around. She even knew the brand of the drinkware!More infoNiseiPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Russian Hill•4.8
