Outstanding service, lovely and delicious food and drink parings in a beautiful setting!

Our party arrived early for our reservation, but the hostess made the effort to seat us quickly. The server was friendly and attentive, allowing us time to settle in and visit before taking our order. Food arrived perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Most importantly, at no time during our 2+ hours there did we feel rushed to leave. All this makes Absinthe a great choice for pre- and post- performance meals.

I had a delightful omakase lunch here. Sitting at the counter chatting with the chef, watching the freshest fish being prepared, and sampling many varieties was wonderful. Everything tasted fantastic, with great service as well.

Octavia’s tasting menu is a must-try for anyone who loves thoughtfully crafted, seasonal dishes. Each course is beautifully balanced, with flavors that really highlight the fresh ingredients. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, offering great wine pairings to enhance the experience. The meal is perfectly paced, allowing you to enjoy each dish without feeling rushed. An absolute delight! Everyone was incredibly thoughtful, the food was delicious, and chatting with the chefs was very enjoyable! The only downside is how pricey it is to dine in San Francisco, but that is to be expected.
