Best Fine Dining Restaurants in San Leandro

We had a reservation ant 3pm and the restaurant was not full. However, it took over twenty minutes to seat us. No idea why. We came for the prime rib. Called ahead and were told it would be ready at 3:00 when dinner service began. It wasn’t. Once I ordered, I was told the prime rib was not ready. Fortunately, it was happy hour and once we had an appetizer (and waited an extra 25 minutes), I was able to get my prime rib. Food was good. Our server Kristin was fabulous, she made the whole experience enjoyable even with the issues with the kitchen. She is worth going back to the restaurant. Ambiance is good, water views beautiful.

My wife and I are long time Yoshi dinner and concert fans, especially when Boney James comes to town. We first say him and his group perform at Yoshi’s in San Francisco many years. Since then, we always attend his Oakland Yoshi’s performances and it’s always a great dinner and show. So for 2024, thanks once again Yoshi’s for another great dinner and show. Very nice experience! We were seated pretty quickly and our server/bartender did an excellent job keeping up with our orders and even though he had two jobs (maybe they were short that night), he was as attentive and friendly as he could be, and the margaritas were excellent!

As always - Trabocco is great for frequent visitors as well as newbies. Every meal we have had there is great!! When we have guests in from out of town - Trabocco is our Go-To place!!

We were back to Commis after 8 years and it did not disappoint! Great, state of art food! We will definitely be back again, hopefully sooner!
