- SSueSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe chef beautifully presented each tasty item that we ordered. The setting in Julia Morgan's historic Berkeley City Club is magnificent. We easily enjoyed our conversations during a leisurely lunch. Thanks so much to all the staff and to our waitress Maria in particular.More infoJulia's RestaurantPrice: Expensive• French• Berkeley•4.7
- KKathySan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI went to Millennium with 2 friends to celebrate my birthday. It had been many years since I last ate there and my memory was that the food was less than average. I decided to give it another chance after I read that the restaurant had Michelin recognition. I'm so pleased that I did. The food was excellent and very interesting. We shared 3 appetizers and 1 main dish along with 1 dessert and a glass of wine. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. The ambience was warm but the noise level was rather loud for 3 "older" women who wanted to talk to each other rather than scream at each other. Really that was my only complaint. I would definitely go back again.More infoMillennium OaklandPrice: Expensive• Vegan• Oakland•4.7
- JJonathanSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoDefinitely my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area! The location is nice, parking is easy to find, and the service is wonderful. The food is always excellent and thoughtful and well presented. Always the go to restaurant for celebrations.More infoCommis Dining RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Oakland•4.9
- CChrisSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOne of our party has food limitations and prefers firm fish, dishes without alliums and low to moderate spices. The only main course on the menu available with those restrictions was the Kingfish and , at $45, it was overpriced for its value. Other than that the rest of the food, the service, atmosphere and overall experience was excellent. It’s probably our fault for not checking the menu but, as this was a special occasion, the reservation was made in advance.More infoJuanita & MaudePrice: Very Expensive• American• Albany•4.8
- IIlanavipSan Francisco Bay Area •13 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024One of our favorite “neighborhood” restaurants for a dinner that is classy without breaking the bank. Great cocktails, wide selection of appetizers, pasta, and entrees — well prepared and nicely presented. The bacalao (salt cod) appetizer tonight was outstanding, the cod like little puffs of cloud on top of polenta cubes. There’s something for everyone, whether they like meat, fish, or vegetarian stuff. The vibe is casual but you definitely feel transported out of daily life (to an Italian trattoria?) and well taken care of. My one caveat is that the pasta servings are on the small side, but I guess that’s better for my health. 😆More infodonato&co.Price: Expensive• Italian• Berkeley•4.6
