From the moment we were greeted at the front, each of the staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious! The presentation was photograph worthy. The portions are just right, as when we were done, about 2 1/2 hours later, we were quite satiated. The attention to detail from our arrival until our departure is why Jeune et Jolie has earned a Michelin star. Lastly, in September, we ate at twice former #1 World’s Top Fifty Restaurants, El Cellar de Can Roca, in Barcelona, which is featured on Netflix’s Chef’s Table. We were given three desserts prepared by Jordi Roca, but the huckleberry violet ice cream dessert at Jeune et Jolie tops them all! Magnificent!More infoJeune et JoliePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Carlsbad•4.9
- DDrewvipSan Diego •22 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt was our first time eating at Ponto Lago. It was a great experience. The food was perfectly prepared with creative elements accompanying each dish. The staff were pleasant. Our wait staff were attentive, communicative, friendly and knowledgeable. They knew the exact times to engage with us. Overall an excellent experience at a reasonable price for the level of service and cuisine.More infoPonto Lago - Park Hyatt AviaraPrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Carlsbad•4.8

He was great and having him in the main dining area playing Christmas tunes in December was nice. However, conversation can be difficult if there are 4 or more people at a table. Either sit ask to sit farther from the piano or ask for other seating options in areas other than the main dining room.More infoVigilucci's Trattoria ItalianaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Encinitas•4.8
- AAprilvipSan Francisco Bay Area •61 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 26, 2024We were drawn to restaurant because of the Veal Sweetbreads. They were not the best but they are so hard to find. We enjoyed the beet salad, carpaccio, mussels, gnocchi, salmon tartare. The butternut squash soup was a little thin and not flavorful. We ate in the lounge, I really like the setting in there lounge. We look forward to our next visit.More infoPAON Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Expensive• French American• Carlsbad•4.5
