The filet came out 10 minutes after all the other entrees. All the sides came out promptly except the Mac and cheesecake, which came out even after the filet. It happened to be the entree for the youngest member of our group, a 14 year old. At a high end restaurant like this, I resent the 3% surcharge being added to the bill. If a hanger steak costs $32 why not just charge $33. No one would object. Likewise if Mac and cheese costs $17 why not just charge $18.More infoBardea SteakPrice: Expensive• Italian• Wilmington•4.6

- JJanisPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoPiccolina Toscana has been a favorite restaurant of mine since they first opened decades ago. Food is consistently good, new items often appear on the menu and the preparations are always flavorful and interesting. When newcomers move to or visit Wilmington and ask for a restaurant recommendation, I always refer them to Piccolina Toscana because I know they will have a memorable experience. Pasta's are phenomenal, thin crust pizzas are savory and delicious, fish dishes are cooked to perfection and side dishes are always interesting Dan Butler, owner and chef, takes pride in his restaurant and knows what his customers like. He has great take out menus, does catering, and tonight in honor of an Italian Christmas tradition, he included a pre-fixe "Feast of of the Seven Fishes' to his regular menu which is what I ordered. From the tuna tartar to the cod in lemon and the house made fettuccini with spinach, each bite was bursting with flavor. Thank you Dan Butler!! You always get it right!!More infoPiccolina ToscanaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Wilmington•4.6
