Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Southeast Nashville

Second trip to Bastion—the first was a year ago and positively incredible, from the food to the wine to the service, music and ambiance. Brought some friends back this time and was far less impressed, unfortunately. It may have just been an off night but I found most of the dishes and wines forgettable, with a couple truly unpalatable (in at least two cases, courses were excessively salty IMO, and I couldn’t choke down one of the wine pairings). That said, the beef main was great, as were the accompanying rolls and a couple of the seafood preparations. Still love what this place is doing but was disappointed last night (and bummed to have talked the restaurant up to friends who left similarly underwhelmed).

Sidney was an outstanding server… the pork chops were the best of any I’ve had anywhere. Prices reasonable and drinks and beer selection were very good. Highly recommend this spot!

We had a great time bowling and then had lunch. The food was great! Even better was our server, Ari. He was very attentive and helpful with accommodating our children. One of the best servers we have ever had.

My husband and I are from Jersey, near Hoboken. Where Sinatra is from. We love him. So of course when we heard there was going to be a restaurant dedicated to ‘OLE BLUE EYEs, we were very excited. It has been opened about two years and we have been there several times. We frequent many other restaurants owned by the owner of Sinatra’a, i.e. Skull’s, House of Cards, Cash’a, etc, so we knew it would be awesome I must tell you, this restaurant is one of the best dining experiences in Nashville. From the manager Paige, to the Head of reservations Heather, they can’t be friendlier, more knowledgeable or more accommodating. They always make me feel special. Our favorite waiter, Mark is wonderful. Always making suggestions and knows the menu like no other. The food is amazing. Starting with the pear burrata, then the zucchini fries, the melon and prosciutto, any of the salads, ciopino over linguini, just an amazing experience. I highly recommend.

We went for the Christmas Eve buffet and EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect. The jazzy Christmas music was relaxing. Our server was a 100, he was so friendly and very attentive to everything we needed. He kept our table clean and even folded our napkins for us when we went back for more. The food was amazing, our table of 4 all had different favorites; I'm still thinking about the French Onion soup, Pastrami smoked Salmon, coconut sweet potatoes and soy glazed Halibut.
