Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Charing Cross

Amazing experience at Smith & Wollensky! Food, service, setting, nothing could be faulted. Every member of staff was more than helpful and attentive to our needs, friendly and knowledgable. The food was amazing, so fresh. We had the chateaubriand, fries, peppercorn sauce and seasonal vegetables to share and every inch was perfect. We shared the cheesecake for dessert and enjoyed this with fresh cream which is made by the chefs, sensational!!

You won’t be disappointed, wide range of fish dishes with top notch ingredients, service and ambiance. Actually went for beef wellington, although the most expensive main course it was a dream - not going to be able to eat it anywhere else! Tables fairly close but somehow you’re not aware of your neighbours. Great place to people watch the bar from the floor. Staff are friendly but approachable. Would return again and again.

Excellent food and inventive combinations. Visually stunning and loved by all the family.

We were on time for our reservation but they were running late. It was extremely busy and they said the busiest day ever. Obviously the run up to Christmas there were a few parties. They asked us to wait outside undercover with some heaters overhead and blankets if we wanted to use them. Gave us a drinks menu but then came out with a glass of sparkling wine for each of us as they were late which was a nice touch. We waited for about 15 mins so no problem. Came and sat us the rest was brilliant. The only reason I gave it 4 for ambience is because it was so noisy but it was not there fault everybody was enjoying themselves too much🤣 Thank you for a great experience.

Dining at the ‘Kitchen Table’ was a great experience watching the working kitchen. We enjoyed a taster menu with explanations from the different chefs who prepared the dishes. We had a wonderful host and the Sommelière had great knowledge and understood my guests palates. Wonderful experience.
