- KPKPMCvipHouston •14 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI dined at March in September 2024, before it had received one Michelin star, with my daughter, and yesterday with my parents. Compared to two months ago, the food and presentation was equally outstanding, but the service was slower, not as fluid, and the ambience was greatly diminished due to the very high noise level. For example, in the lounge, we were served still and sparkling water, finished drinking that before our cocktail of vermouth was served, and finished drinking that before the amuse bouche was served. In the dining room, the noise level was so loud that it was difficult to hear our waiters and waitresses describe the food and the wines, even though they were standing right at our table, and it was impossible for my parents, even with hearing aids, to hear what our servers were telling us. - AAnnHouston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoEnjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, perfect for catching up with a dear friend. The restaurant is light, bright, and cheery. The tea sandwiches and cakes were delicious and just right for nibbling and conversing. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, but not intrusive, and we did not feel rushed. The noise level was low enough to hear each other easily. Parking is along the street or with the valet.More infoEmma JanePrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• River Oaks•4.6
- KKaiWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoOur dinner at Drake’s was just what we needed for a date night and a special time together for my boyfriends birthday. I appreciate the grace as we were running late and the team was accommodating and kind, even though we were behind schedule and closing was at 10p. Thank you for the hospitality. A little bit of kindness goes very long way.More infoDrake's Hollywood - HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• American• Montrose•4.6
- DLDebraLAustin •17 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024I love that the menu is seasonal. I had an appetizer (garden salad with caramelized anchovy dressing, pickled cauliflower and wafer-thin croutons) and the parisian gnocchi lardons with squash veloute with a lovely sparkling wine. The service was impeccable, and it was surprisingly quiet, given that the restaurant was mostly full for lunch. Beautiful decor and ambiance, would be perfect for entertaining out of town guests or for a special occasion. I hope to go back to enjoy other seasonal menu creations.More infoLe Jardinier - HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• French• Heights / Washington•4.8
