Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Beaufort / Morehead City

The diverse offerings on the Valentine’s Day prixe fixe menu looked fabulous. Everything was delicious though the filet mignon was disappointing for its recipient. With that exception the clean plates for amuse bouche, appetizers, halibut entrees and three different desserts were outstanding. Service was great.

Quality and consistency are on par with the service and expectations. Our server Melissa always makes us feel welcome and comfortable. We love Circa 81!

Service was outstanding, ambiance was exquisite. Seating was very comfortable. Prices are high but you are paying for the ambiance. Reminds me of eating in west palm beach. Very classy. Portions sizes were all good. I had the RH Bellini.. good flavor, tasty drink. Started with the crispy artichokes. They had good flavor. Was my friend's first time trying artichokes and he enjoyed them. Next, I had the the Branzino. Friend had the Ribeye. Not a ton of flavor. Expect more flavor for the price.. but still, not bad. Truffle fries and asparagus were both good. Finished with the butterscotch brûlée. Sweet and it was enough for us to share. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and experience. We went for lunch. We didn't have to wait and it wasn't over crowded.

We had their heavenly bistro rolls, bacon wrapped scallops that were amazing! My husband had the Grouper and I had the crab cake. It is literally giant lumps of absolutely heavenly crab. Gluten free option for those who need it. Dinks and service are always great. We miss the chefs dessert plate but chocolate cake was delicious.

This was my first visit to Orion’s and it was spectacular. My wife and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary there and the staff and the food were excellent. The view and the atmosphere really made the evening special.
