Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Niles

We had a really great time at Carmine's, celebrating our son's 25th birthday. Our server, John, was great, outgoing and had a great personality. All other staff were exceptionally friendly and service oriented. Food was great, portions are enormous! My only ding to the evening and suggestion to the management team is turn the music down! We felt like we were in a disco with the continual 70s/80s disco music. The music selection would not be to everyone's liking, and the volume was off the charts loud. I wanted to request that the music be turned down but didn't want to appear to be an old cranky pants. And a more "general" music repetoire would be a good idea because not everyone will care for thumping disco music all night long.

Best mussels in town! Always a great meal. Can be noisy - sit along the windows in winter for best conversation. We love the patio when available. On our recent visit we needed to retrieve our car since the valet was serving two restaurants and overwelled.

We eat here for special occasions, and have enjoyed our meals every time. We started with the jumbo crab claws which were fabulous, then moved to our main course. I had the traditional Turkey dinner, with stuffing, rice and mashed potatoes. The turkey was so moist, my knife just slid through it without any effort. My family had fish, which was good, but not as good as my meal. Pumpkin cheesecake was for dessert. It was the perfect end to a perfect meal.

Impressive every time. They never fail to deliver. Had a quick dinner. EJs slaw and fried shrimp! Two hidden gems on the menu. Service is perfect

Stefani's is my new favorite spot. This was my fourth visit since October 18th. We tried a few new items this time: the tuna crudo is amazing! The friend calamari is so light and fresh....the caper aioli is delicious! All our entrees were fantastic: chicken parmesan, short rib ravioli, ravioli pera (oh my gosh!!!), pasta aragosta, and my favorite: the seared tuna (extra rare is my favorite way). Our desserts were perfect to finish the meal: the cookie skillet was warm and gooey and delicious....the bread pudding was WOW! Mike was our server and there is no one better! We have been lucky enough to have him for each of our four visits. He is so attentive. He offers excellent suggestion when asked! He KNOWS the menu inside and out!
