Best Family Style Restaurants in Ybor City

I don’t normally leave reviews, but we had the best experience at Lilac…i thought it should be shared. From the service, to the ambiance, to the unbelievably amazing 4 course meal…it was all perfection. We were celebrating our anniversary. The staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate. Complimentary champagne, caviar & and decorated cookie at the end that had a picture on it of where my husband and I first met. It was such a special touch! Our waiter Jeremy was so kind & warm. We really enjoyed talking with him & appreciated his help when making decisions on what to pick. Everything we ate was so unique and delicious. We left there full & so happy! We will definitely be back.

Our table shared three dishes - the ube waffles (my favorite), the avocado sticky rice (my mom’s favorite) and the pasta with lump crab meat. Everything was absolutely delicious. Jermaine was our server and he couldn’t have been better - he was joyful and attentive. We joked about my one complaint - they were playing country music which IMO completely ruined the vibe of the place. It does not fit in with the food or the ambience. Regardless I cannot wait to go back, but for dinner instead of brunch as I hear the music is much better then. 😉

Date Night tonight. Thoughts: we were seated within 5 minutes after arriving (even though we were 15 minutes early). The place looks high end and was very clean. It is a touch loud but once you settle in you understand the noise level is because everyone is having a sensational dinning experience. Service was incredible!! Heather & Auggie were an amazing team who were flawless! Food was delicious. We had the fillet w/truffle butter, prime NY Steak, loaded mashed, mushroom skillet, and the cookies & ice cream. Each dish was cooked and seasoned to perfection....5 star all the way. My only criticism is that we were seated across from each other and could not sit close together (which is my preference). Meat Market is now officially in our rotation...See you again soon

Great first visit! Ambience was chill, unpretentious. Friendly welcome at the door and upon exiting. Settings at the table were clean, uncluttered, simple, yet fashionable. Our server was very responsive, answered all our questions, made good recommendations. Portions for the price favor quality not quantity, flavor and unique presentation. Highly recommend the Vindaloo Pappardelle!

We were celebrating our 30 th anniversary. We wanted a romantic yet fun winery type experience. This delivered on so many levels. The charcuterie board was out of this world. The wines Highest Beauty, and Sea Smokes Chard were amazing with our meals. First class service from Daniel and all the staff that had his back tonight. They acted like we were the only clients they had when in fact we were definitely not. All things were followed up with an amazing Chocolate decedent dessert that’s out of this world. So for a guy that NEVER leaves reviews - this was an excellent experience. We are so glad we came here. Cheers to all 🥂
