Best Family Style Restaurants in Teaneck

We plan our trip to NYC around eating at Carmine’s. This time we ate at the upper West Side location. We usually eat at the Times Square location. But this year it was booked solid for Christmas a month in advance. We were wowed again with an awesome meal at Carmines at 91st Street. We had the garlic bread with cheese. We always ask to add the cheese. So wonderful. We also split the lasagna. It is the best we have ever tasted. We brought over half of it home. I would recommend either Carmine’s to anyone wanting authentic Italian food at its best.

The waiters recommendations were phonomenal. Everyone enjoyed starter and meals. The food and drinks were well balanced, unquestionably delicious!! Nice Christmas eve dinner.

Dinner was so delicious! Service was great—really appreciate them making Christmas Eve so special! Very family friendly. We ordered an appetizer and then had one dish of the chicken Alfredo. It was literally the best I’ve ever had. It fed two adults and two children. The kids loved it and cleared their plates. Then we had the Italian cheesecake and hot fudge brownie. Both were great, definitely recommend the brownie.

I don’t recall his name but our server was outstanding! Pleasant, fun, and helpful. The family talked about what a great vibe he brought to dinner! We go as a family every time we go to NYC (our third trip) and food is always delicious, with PLENTY to go around. Also appreciated the water pitcher on the table. As a large family (table of 9), it’s so much easier to keep the water glasses full ourselves. Thanks again!!

Excellent food, service and very accommodating. Not too many places allow outside celebration cake. Gianna’s is very family oriented. Great place for groups
