- EEvanSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoSecond time eating here. Both times were excellent. This time we sat at the Chef’s table and nerded out with questions to the Chef (who was really personable). We did a 16 oz Ribeye and the A5 sampler (Ribeye + Filet). As good as it gets… truly. - PPeterSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe "dim sum" small dishes are delicious, innovative, surprising. And they keep on coming. The servers are so friendly, so efficient, and so obviously proud to work at the restaurant. That alone would keep us coming back. PS: wine isn't and can't be the primary issue at a restaurant with these amazing tastes, but their wine is good and really complements the meal.More infoState Bird ProvisionsPrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Western Addition•4.8
- DDonald JoevipLos Angeles •39 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFirst-time visit to China Live, and we were not disappointed! Attentive, helpful service (Raffi was super-helpful with navigating the menu), lots of choices, and quick service. We got the XLB, sea bass, and crispy noodles with chicken, and really, I can't think of a single negative thing to say about any of them. Dessert was the wonderful mandarin brownie with lychee ice cream. All in all, a wonderful meal and a great time out for my bride and I.More infoChina LivePrice: Moderate• Chinese• Chinatown•4.7
- DDisappointeddowntownSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoA absolutely spectacular experience. A few highlights: - Order the Manhattan. Well balanced and a double. Great start! - Oysters were phenomenal. They have their own estuary and it shows. The freshest we’ve ever had. - Caviar and potato chips were not only decadent but actually a great value. - Caesar salad made table side was delicious. - New York bone-in strip was perfection. Seasoning and crust were on point. - Creamed Kale as a side was spectacular too. - Bananas Foster for dessert. An incredible experience. Great service all along the way. Well done Tyler and team!More infoMiller & LuxPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Mission Bay / South Beach•4.7
