Taking inspiration from the night markets of Asia and his Korean-American childhood, Chef Edward Kim pairs eastern cooking techniques with Chicago ingredients to create umami-laden flavors, juxtaposing tastes and textures for a wildly exciting menu. A festive and lively dining scene is anchored by a well-lauded bar program and an open pantry, inviting our guests further into the kitchen experience. We loved the bread and were told no refills as they only make enough for the day-very disappointing. Never had that happen before anywhere. Asked for the steak medium rare and it was more like medium-medium well. Spicy rigatoni was not spicy at all. The food was good, just not great. Would not go back.

The Girl and the Goat always exceeds expectations, even when my expectations are sky high! Thank you! We had the Pig Face, String Beans, Goat Belly, and Steak. The dishes all exploded with flavors. The balance of seasonings, use of citrus, vinegar and other elements of the dishes played well and makes the culinary experience here amazing. The cocktails were yummy as well. The Peach-Te-quilla was light and refreshing. The Spicy Fat Boy had a ton of flavor. To finish the night, we had the Toffee Pumpkin cake and a neat pour of the Pappy Family Reserve. The Pappy was a treat and made a great night even more special! Thanks to Stephanie and all the team at the Goat. You are all AMAZING!

We love the variety and flavor, both in cocktails and menu. We visit often because they have a kids menu, perfect for our toddler. She devoured their kids pizza and ice cream and for this reason the restaurant is one of our favs! The service people are attentive, kind and friendly. We're fans of the piñata cocktail, aguacate salad, calabaza, and the fish tacos. For dessert, the nieve frito is delicious.
