- RRobertSan Francisco Bay Area •10 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoThe service was great and most of the food was very good. Salmon and crab cakes, fettuccini excellent, as were the lobster ravioli. The halibut however was a bit dry and bland this evening. They only serve wine and beer, although they had some quite nice selections there. The dining room is rather small, brightly lit and very simple, almost diner-like. The value was very good for the money. I would likely return.More infoCalifornia Fish Market RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Italian• North Beach•4.6

We loved her suggestions on the menu as well. We enjoyed the octopus (best I've ever had), lamb meatballs, Gigantes, Smelt, and the goat stew to finish. We were absolutely stuffed and definitely slept like babies! Everything was stunning. I've heard such wonderful things before coming here, and they had exceeded my expectations.More infoKokkari EstiatorioPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.8

- CCarolineSan Francisco Bay Area •19 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoIt’s a fun spot with tasty food at a moderately premium price. There is better Chinese food to be had in San Francisco, but the vibe here makes it worth the occasional trip. We had the chrysanthemum salad, which was very tasty and fresh though I didn’t much care for the dressing. It seemed a little bland to me. We had the xiao long bao, which I usually love. These were very tasty, but nothing special. The fat noodles were great. The sauce was a little sweet to my taste. The winner for me was the tofu clay pot with minced pork. Wonderfully spicy and full of interesting flavors, offset by the creamy creamy tofu. Really beautifully prepared.More infoChina LivePrice: Moderate• Chinese• Chinatown•4.7
- EEmilyVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024Tosca remains one of my absolute favorites in San Francisco. The space, food, service all excellent. The night we went was Santa Con (ooops) + a huge private birthday party in the back room so it was bonkers, but the team did everything they could to keep it going! Will go back soon.More infoTosca CaféPrice: Expensive• Italian• North Beach•4.7
