- JJaneVIPNew York City •66 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoRarely do we find a restaurant we can say was perfection on every level. Marisi is just that place. We were greeted with warmth upon our arrival for our reservation and were seated immediately, despite a long line of walk-ins. Our table was set beautifully and our server(s) were professional and knowledgeable. From cocktails through dessert every dish exceeded our expectations. The cocktails were beautifully crafted, the dishes beyond delicious and the homemade pasta to die for! We had an opportunity to meet Assistant General Manager, Karley Maes, and thanked her for the training of staff and the noted attention to detail that was notable. Upon speaking with staff, everyone acknowledged admiration and respect for the organization. We also had a moment to chat with the bartender. He was proud of the set-up and proliferation of high-end brands that were even in the well. Can’t wait to return.More infoMarisiPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• La Jolla•4.6

- PPhaedraSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024We finally tried Steak 48 and it definitely lives up to the hype! Had a wonderful Christmas eve early dinner. It was a treat to sit at the bar-James, the bartender was friendly, made excellent drinks & further detailed the menu. We ordered the crisp shrimp appetizer, bone-in rib-eye, bone-in filet & roasted cauliflower. All were fantastic, cooked perfectly/as we ordered & came out sizzling hot. Quality of food is superb, as was the service and ambiance. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks, James & Steak 48!More infoSteak 48 - Del MarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Del Mar•4.9
- EEdSan Diego •2 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024We had the salmon and cioppino entries, while our kids ordered marinara spaghetti with meatball and pasta Alfredo from kid’s menu. Also ordered a bruschetta side. The salmon and cioppino were great! Very pleased with food but even more with service. One of the kids has a peanut allergy and asked about peanuts in the pasta when placing the order. We later ordered the bruschetta, but forgot to ask if it has any nuts however, we were very pleased that when the server brought the side, he mentioned that the bruschetta only had pine nuts and almonds or walnuts. we were going to ask when he brought the side, but he anticipated our question! High five to the server team!!More infoDavanti Del MarPrice: Moderate• Italian• Del Mar•4.6
