It is hard to find better quality food, always perfectly cooked and presented. Two course lunch £21, three course £26. My go-to lunch venue even though I live quite a way away, but it's well worth the journey. My friend had a funny turn there today, and the manager and staff were very helpful and attentive. Thanks, she's OK now.

No comment. This is my local pub and it has improved beyond measure over the past 18 months under Jane's leadership and the brilliant chef. Always a friendly atmosphere, wonderful staff and delicious food. Try the cheese souffle!

Excellent food as always and our waitress Alex was very helpful, friendly and catered for all our needs. We had a lovely cosy table by the fire on a cold Wintery day.
