We selected Copperwood Tavern as it is close to Signature Theatre - a short walk from the theatre. It was decorated for the holidays. We were there at happy hour and since we wanted to eat light, we selected items from the HH menu. The food was good and well prepared. The beef sliders were a bit dry, but the other items were well prepared. It got busy after we arrived and they were slow in delivering the drinks and food. The only negative (for us), is that we had to sit across from each other (we prefer to sit side by side) and it got fairly noisy so it was difficult to hear each other. The bourbon pour was generous. We’ll go back next time we go to the theater.

When booking the reservation, everything was very smooth. The receptionist were all nice. I had to adjust our reservation due to traffic and it was no problem. The dining experience was excellent. The servers were nice and responsive. The food was delicious.

Chaplins always offers great food with good service, and tonight was no exception. They were slammed with large tables from a convention, yet the team still managed to run a very efficient service without compromising on taste or hospitality!
