With quality stonework and attractive sloping edges Lock 10 is one of 46 along the Royal Canal and continues to be a testament to the skill of the craftsmen involved. Our bar is adjacent to the Lock Keepers House, a post that became obsolete in 1961 when the canal was closed to traffic the previous year. Really Good brunch menu. Pancakes fab and served with plenty of crispy bacon. Waffle dish was a small portion - just the one small waffle. Excellent coffee. Excellent service. Dog friendly (on the covered terrace). The down side was that we were the only diners, so atmosphere was lacking. Very good value for money though
