Best Date Night Restaurants in Prospect Park

We ordered the chef’s choice six course meal served on small plates. It was fantastic. Portions were small enough that we didn’t over eat. The salmon was done perfectly and the main entree steak was the most tender steak we have ever eaten. A great meal in beautiful setting. A bonus was our table was near a large window which was nice for watching people walking their dogs!

We went for restaurant week and the food was amazing. We ordered oysters off menu from the restaurant week menu and it was delicious. We had the best server, Theresa. She was so personable and the staff at Baldamar was top notch. I worked in the restaurant industry for a long time and have eaten at many restaurants whether it’s 3 Michelin stars to James Beard award winning places and Baldamar was up there. The staff made sure the plates were cleared, water was filled, checked on us consistently but very timely and food came out perfect!! Definitely recommend Baldamar!

Our entire experience exceeded expectations…innovative menu was exceptional. Professional staff were gracious, experienced, personable, helpful and knowledgeable. There was tasty music and we could converse and hear. I highly recommend Young Joni for an adventure into fresh dining experience dealt by professional staff.

Wonderful experience doing something a bit more unique. This staff went above and beyond after our experience when a piece of jewelry was lost there. They made sure to help find such when the experience was being cleaned and helped save the day. Cannot rave about the above and beyond experience and help they’ve offered.

Lovely setting, attentive service, delicious meal and exciting cocktails. We loved every aspect of our date night dinner. Beef tartare, scallops and duck were all outstanding and beautiful. Passionfruit tart also very nice. Don’t miss the passionfruit cocktail with bubbles, sidecar or espresso martini. Exceptionally good.
