Best Date Night Restaurants in North Oaks

It was a first date and we appreciate the server letting us take our time and still giving us great service. We tipped her extra for holding up her table. The food was delicious, and as a non-alcoholic drinker, I appreciate the mocktail options. The apple-cinnamon one was very refreshing. We'll be back.

We went for restaurant week and the food was amazing. We ordered oysters off menu from the restaurant week menu and it was delicious. We had the best server, Theresa. She was so personable and the staff at Baldamar was top notch. I worked in the restaurant industry for a long time and have eaten at many restaurants whether it’s 3 Michelin stars to James Beard award winning places and Baldamar was up there. The staff made sure the plates were cleared, water was filled, checked on us consistently but very timely and food came out perfect!! Definitely recommend Baldamar!

From the outside, Bennetts is very unassuming. It looks like a corner neighborhood bar, which it is, but inside it has everything you would get from a more elite restaurant. First of all, the service we had last night was spectacular! Jessica was friendly, helpful, accommodating and efficient. The drinks were good, the ribs were fantastic and served with a salad of sliced Brussels sprouts? Delicious! White tablecloths are a nice touch. The menu is huge and on most Mondays they have half price apps and martinis. They do not have the deal on event nights. They have a bus to drive concert or sporting events attendees to the Xcel. Great value and a fun evening. I highly recommend!

Our entire experience exceeded expectations…innovative menu was exceptional. Professional staff were gracious, experienced, personable, helpful and knowledgeable. There was tasty music and we could converse and hear. I highly recommend Young Joni for an adventure into fresh dining experience dealt by professional staff.
