Best Date Night Restaurants in New Albany

Always a fun experience at Cap City. It's my go-to place. The food is always consistent, the staff is professional and friendly, and great atmosphere. Prices have gone up a lot. That is the only downfall!

Lunch in downtown Columbus is back and special! We started with the Dirty Tots - crispy, spicy on the outside, creamy on the inside with a pop of caviar with dill garnish. Fantastic. The Lobster Roll is warm, filled with plump claw meat in a buttery roll with clarified butter for dipping and crispy shoestring fries. The Roasted Chicken was beyond any roast chicken with stuffing in the chicken breast, savory glaze on perfectly crisped skin. Even the iced tea was special - the current house made creation is a Blood Orange Iced Tea. A second glass arrived just as I was finishing the first. Service is friendly and gracious, there is valet at the lunch hour, and the interior of the restaurant is a lovely mix of formal and floral. A great business or celebratory lunch spot - much needed downtown.

Great happy hour location! Many more food and drink choices than most restaurants on their happy hour menu. Food and service were great!

Everything was delicious. The filet was tender and perfectly cooked. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. The peanut butter pie was outstanding. It was the perfect place for a special birthday dinner.

What a fantastic late lunch we had today. The servers were wonderful, and the food was fantastic as always. Our primary server suggested the omelet and the scallop salad. We decided to get both and split them! He even put a 4th scallop on the salad split so to avoid problems! We even split a piece of the olive oil cake which was light and tasty! Thanks for a great afternoon!
