ADDITIONAL AVAILABILITY ON OUR WEBSITE : TinRoofBistro.com After soaking in the TRB’s Santa Barbara mission architecture, you’ll enter and be greeted by a triple arched Brunswick mahogany bar. Large bowls of colorful citrus for making cocktails sit atop a twenty-foot long bar perfect for grabbing a glass of wine or a bite to eat. As you explore further towards the display kitchen, you enter our lounge, also referred to as the wine library. Knotted wood shelves display our wines, divided up by wine region. Windows surround the North side of the dining room, allowing our guests to gaze out onto the fountain in our courtyard. I describe the décor as thoughtful and collective, creating little vignettes for dining areas. We offer two separate outdoor dining experiences: our courtyard with full service and our front porch great for appetizers, drinks and lounging.

Inspired by both Cabo San Lucas’ beautiful coast and Mexico City’s vibrant cosmopolitan neighborhoods, Esperanza’s thoughtful design blurs the lines between art and function. Masterfully designed by internationally renowned Islandic architect Gulla Jónsdóttir, Esperanza’s interiors reflect an elevated coastal ambiance that exaggerates the grandeur of a beach town villa.Chef Ray Alvarez oversees a menu featuring fresh interpretations of Sonoran cuisine while Head Mixologists John Fox and Kevin Williams developed Esperanza’s bar program to not only include delicious and playful cocktails, but the two have also created the largest tequila list and mezcal collection in the South Bay.

Love and Salt is a story that begins with Cafe Pierre, a restaurant birthed by Guy Gabriele in 1977 to bring a taste of France to Los Angeles’ South Bay. While Cafe Pierre was a beloved part of the community for nearly 37 years, in 2014, Guy and his daughter Sylvie Gabriele, now the owner of Love and Salt, closed the restaurant to bring new life to the iconic space.Love and Salt is a philosophy: that food needs only two ingredients to be great. It’s a sensibility that informs the feeling in the restaurant and the dishes on the menu — Italian-inspired with Southern California soul. An approachable wine list and classic cocktail program similarly reflect the vibrant SoCal setting of the restaurant, located just steps from the Manhattan Beach pier.

As ever - lots of delicious menu items and the kitchen is great about splitting in the back of the house. Wait team is gracious with being condescending or patronizing. The tacos are a better bang for the buck than the lobster roll.. The Manhattans are exceptional and be sure to try the ponzu on your raw oysters.

We had an amazing experience! The hostess was incredibly professional, seating us right on time despite the bustling crowd. Our server was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He made sure to check on us regularly, even though the restaurant was incredibly busy. The service truly made our evening special. We can’t wait to come back!

Had Christmas Eve dinner at Tin Roof Bistro. We were seated promptly and food and service were delightful as always except for one thing: My husband ordered the special dessert of Bread Pudding. It really wasn't as described, and looked like we got the last bit of the pan it was baked in. There was almost no moisture - very little custard, no apples or cranberries, just a lot of toasted bread cubes, some burnt. We asked the waiter where was the fruit and rather than bringing us a proper portion from a new pan, he brought a ramekin of cranberries to add to it. Too bad - we saw another table's bread pudding and it looked amazing. If you are running out of a special, best to 86 it rather than try and scrape out one more substandard serving.
