Best Date Night Restaurants in Lancaster

We usually love our time at the Exchange. Last night was def an off night for them. From not having the proper drinkware, to slow service, to cold red wine...I really hope it was just a fluke.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 401 prime , and I have to say, the experience was exceptional. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, creating a welcoming and warm atmosphere from the moment we walked in. But what truly made our visit stand out was the incredible service we received, especially from our server, Nick. Nick was, without a doubt, one of the best servers I’ve ever had. From the start, he made us feel completely at ease, ensuring we never felt rushed throughout our meal. He anticipated our needs without being intrusive—constantly offering refills and making sure we had everything we needed, including silverware for each course and keeping our table spotless. I didn’t have to touch the wine bottle once, as Nick was on top of it every step of the way. While the food was delicious, it was Nick’s thoughtful and attentive service that made this experience unforgettable. When I think back on our time at 401 prime, it's not just the food I remember, but the top-notch service that truly made the evening special. I’ll definitely be back, and I hope to have Nick serve us again

Food was perfect and I'm left dreaming about having seconds just a few hours later. Service was also well above expectation. Belvedere has mastered a perfect dining experience.

I brought my grandson and daughter-in-law for a preshow dinner. The small room we were seated I had never eaten in before...It was absolutely beautiful...a little cool but much quieter than the main room of the restaurant! Our food was spectacular although a bit pricey. The special was $85 which I thought was a bit much for a smaller filet and a small crabcake. Believe me though this will not stop me from returning to this amazing spot in beautiful Lancaster city!! Lastly our server Benjamin was OUTSTANDING!!!! He was so personable and friendly but so professional. He should train everyone in this business!! Thank you Cest la Vie for another outstanding evening.

Celebrated our 44th anniversary with our first visit to Josephine’s. Heard great things about it and we were not disappointed at all! Food was great, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was just right. Our waiter (Hunter) made the whole experience a great one. And the special menu insert was a very classy touch!!
