- JJacobChicago / Illinois •3 reviews5.0Dined todayService was impressive. Constant supply of water, great timing between meals, waiter was excellent. New plates between meals. Food was awesome. Sweet potato latkes had the classic latke texture and flavor with an added creaminess and sweetness from the sweet potato. The falafel was very well seasoned and the sweet creaminess of the beet tzatziki was complemented perfectly by the savory, slightly grittiness of the tahini sauce. The harissa crusted halibut was perfectly cooked flakey fish with a beautifully salty dashi mushroom broth. The harissa crust itself had a cheese-forward flavor not unlike cheez-itz, but in a good way, brightened up by shavings of lemon zest. The frozen yogurt with olive oil and sea salt was a bit surprising in that it was more cheesy than I had expected it to be. The yogurt was great and the drops of olive oil carried a salty punch to them and had hardened ever so slightly from the coldness of the yogurt. The burnt honey cake was great. Tall light multi-layered cake with light burnt honey whipped cream and some other warm spices like cinnamon. The honey cake tasted eerily similar to cinnamon teddy grahams from when I was a kid. The meal was very good, with creative twists on classic dishes that were enhanced by bold flavors. The nostalgic elements of flavors from my childhood were special. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend Ema, and if you’re ever in Chicago to try Aba as well. Both are great restaurants.More infoEma - GlenviewPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Glenview•4.7

- SStevenVIPLondon •7 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe have consistently enjoyed our experiences at this establishment. The quality of the food is exceptional, and the service consistently exceeds our expectations. Our preference is to sit at the bar, where Ralph has always provided outstanding care during our visits. On our most recent outing, Danielle attended to us, and she displayed remarkable professionalism and attentiveness. Additionally, the hostesses are commendable, always making an effort to accommodate our seating preferences at the bar. Overall, this restaurant stands out for both its culinary excellence and exemplary service.More infoHunt Club SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Lake Geneva•4.3
- NNicoleVIPWisconsin •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 1, 2025We had a really enjoyable experience at the Snow Globes. We chose the clubhouse location and I’m so glad we did. The menu was much more expansive which allowed us to actually have dinner (and not just sharables/snacks like the Lodge offers). The food was so good. The service was great. It’s wasn’t very busy so maybe our service was elevated because of that. We did go on a Friday, which you’d think would be busier (it wasn’t). We did the 7pm time slot as well so that could be why we had more attention. The globe was plenty warm (the temp outside was probably 30). We brought blankets but didn’t need them. My only 2 gripes were that the overhead heater was fixed more on one side of the globe so those sitting underneath it were much warmer than those on the other side of the table. There was another heater underneath the bench on the opposite side of the heater but it didn’t seem to warm up like the overhead heater did. The other gripe was the cost. For 6 of us it was $364 (2 of us were teens). $61/person seems quite high, but I suppose you’re also paying for experience. Perhaps if we didn’t go with scallops ($34) it could have been less expensive. Overall it was still a fun and memorable experience and the quality of the service and food also made the price easier to accept.More infoSnowglobes at turf. kitchen & tapPrice: Expensive• American• Lake Geneva•4.5
