Best Date Night Restaurants in Fairview

Zarak is our favourite restaurant in Vancouver, so we always know we’re in for a treat when we go. This time, we changed it up and went for brunch (our first time). The food was amazing, the portions were generous, and the service was great!

Always feel taken care of and appreciated at Grapes and Soda as well as their sister restaurant Farmers Apprentice. It’s tasty, feels like a special occasion and reasonable enough to enjoy nice dinners, snacks and drinks there without feeling too guilty. An especially friendly FOH and kitchen staff. A great dining experience.

Our visit to Nightingale was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the service and ambiance set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The food was beyond incredible—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to our server, Colwyn, who truly made the evening special. He was not only attentive and caring but also incredibly thoughtful with his recommendations. His warm and welcoming demeanor made our first meal in Vancouver a highlight of our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our time here. Thank you, Colwyn, and the entire team at Nightingale for such a memorable experience. We’ll be back! Great service? Good atmosphere and my food was delicious!

We love coming here and almost always have the lobster salad. The bread is also yummy. We shared the pumpkin soup, also delicious if not quite hot. The sparkling wine was fine, but it would be nice to have a choice, perhaps a good Prosecco. It is very French in menu and ambience, relaxing and fun even though it always seems so busy and noisy at lunch, especially at Christmas time. And we always feel well taken care of. Not sure how they do it, but here’s to coming back in 2025 for our special occasions.
