Best Date Night Restaurants in Cumming

My boyfriend who is a chef and I, foodie, this was the best eating experience we have ever had in our lives. we were celebrating his birthday which happened to be valentine's day and a day in which C&S offered an AMAZING 'tour' of their food. our minds were completely blown so much so that we woke up thinking about our experience this morning. We cannot praise this restaurant enough. we have never in our lives seen such brilliant service. We will return again and get it again. As a matter of fact , we're going to nosh on our leftovers now! Special, SPECIAL acknowledgement to brilliant, expert server extraordinaire, Nayyah. (Please forgive any misspelling) . ♡

Our usual dinner spots were booked for Valentine's day. Tin Cup had 2 tables left for the time I was looking for and I'm very happy we booked. The restaurant itself has a modern yet cozy feel to it. The noise level was perfect. Bustling, but not overwhelming. Our server greated us and informed us that the bar and kitchen were running a little behind, but we weren't in a hurry since we were there to celebrate Valentine's day. We ordered drinks and studied the menu. We ended up skipping appetizers, but the wagyu meatballs and the thick cut bacon were tempting. My wife ordered the 8oz filet with a baked potato. I ordered the 12oz NY Strip with Broccolini and we ordered an extra side of crispy brussel sprouts to share. Our food arrived relatively quickly, our waitress asked if we would like a tutorial on how to finish preparing our steaks. This is where Tin Cup is different. The steaks arrive to the table seared, but each diner then finishes cooking their steak to their liking on a lava stone. I used the steak knife to slice my strip on the wooden cutting board and then placed the slices on the lava. When each piece was finished I was able to use a butter knife to cut the steak because it was that tender. My wife's filet was just as good and we both agreed the steaks were among the best ever had, and we've been spoiled by eating at some of the best steakhouses in Atlanta and Nashville. The sides were all perfectly executed and ample portions. Once you figure out how to navigate the cooking and eating, this restaurant is well worth checking out. We plan on putting it on our regular rotation.

With a valentines crowd we expected everything to be be slow but it wasn’t. Good food,good service and very prompt! Music a nice touch! Thanks

We sat outside on the enclosed patio and it was very comfortable with heaters (even in February). I had the Grouper and my husband had a Bleu cheese crusted steak and both were delicious! Zade was our server and he was very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!

A hidden gem in Cumming, featuring a delight experience of Latin countries fusion. My business luncheon at the Santa Maria was my first time experience that exceeded expectations. SM's menu is complex, and to some who may be used to standard cuisine, can be a tad intimidating. However, I encourage you to try something non-traditional. I tried the Huarache Chilango, with steak. It was an absolute delightful experience. I will order it again. The atmosphere is also tastefully done. This is a place to take a date ,or your better half, and is a great place for a business meeting. The service and staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. I will be back.
