- SSteveNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoExcellent food with terrific, attentive staff. Place is beautiful and warm. Plates are small and meant for sharing. Some were quite expensive ($34 each for goat pork belly and basted bass) which were very small IMO for the price. Goat belly was very good, but would pass on the bass as we felt it was over spiced and couldn’t taste the fish. We also had the poke (24), oysters (18 for 2), beets (18), chickpea fritters (18) and a delicious, definite repeat in the toffee pumpkin spice cake (15). With tip and 3 drinks between us, came to $300 for 2 people. That said, this was our second visit and we will gladly be back again!!!More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8

- FFredrickChicago / Illinois •49 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWhat an incredible meal!!!!! The seafood was fresh, the steaks perfectly prepared, the wine exquisite and the desserts devine!!!!!!! The candlelight setting was the perfect ambiance even if a bit dark, but the absolute star of the dinner was the tremendous service provided by MASON! The best waiter in Chicago. (Maple & Ash this "Employee Benefits" charge coincidentally is exactly the same as the credit card fee!!!! Ask me before you add $25 to my check!!!!! When I drop almost a $1,000.00 for dinner without cocktails I don't expect a surprise on my bill!!!!! Disclosure and ASK. 30% Tip covers the wait staff, and at your prices there is money to provide the rest of the staff--including the kitchen--with "employee benefits.")More infoMaple & AshPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.7
