- RRobinVIPTulsa •11 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe visited Baron’s for the first time to celebrate a birthday. The ambiance is beautiful and we could tell everyone there was having a good time. My husband ordered the antelope, and although it was a small piece of meat, he said it was very good. The chopped salad was shared between two of us at the table and it was very fresh and the basil vinaigrette was delicious and not overbearing. Theee of us at the table ordered the filet. It was a good size steak (a little bigger than the antelope). I ordered medium rare and it was more medium (actually wasn’t as pink as the medium ordered by another person at our table) but it was still delicious and very tender. The whipped potatoes and asparagus that came with the filet were very flavorful. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. She gave the birthday guest a choice of desserts and they chose the chocolate ganache, to be shared at the table. There were 3 piece of ganache that resembled the size of a Kit Kat. The ganache was creamy and perfect, but the table agreed the pear marshmallow on top had an odd flavor. Two of the guests ordered the Baron’s Old Fashioned (had a smoked ice cube) and agreed the aftertaste was like ashes, and not pleasant. There is only one bathroom each for men and women, so the wait time to use was a little long at times. We will definitely visit Baron’s again. Beautiful restaurant with a lively vibe and delicious food.More infoBarons on 1stPrice: Very Expensive• American• Tulsa•4.8

- RRobinVIPTulsa •11 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe went on New Year’s Day for lunch and it was busy bit not crowded. I had the All Day Omelet with a small salad and both were wonderful. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious and flavorful. Husband had the breakfast sandwich and he said it was excellent. We ordered a side of sourdough bread and it was very thin and tasted more like Texas Toast. The waitress forgot my drink but when a server came by to see if everything was ok, I told her about my drink, and they brought it out and comped it, which was nice but not necessary. Food was delivered quickly. Will definitely return.More infoMaple Ridge GrocerPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Tulsa•4.7
- VVanOklahoma City •22 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024The experience was wonderful, but it didn't start that way, and i nearly left before it started. When I first arrived, I was greeted by a less than friendly staff member. She acted like it was an inconvenience have to deal with me. I gave her my name and told her I had a reservation. She turned and said, "How about that high table in the bar?" . I politely told her I would like a standard table.... she very loudly huffed off and just left me awkwardly standing there. I was there long enough that I nearly walked back out. Eventually, a very friendly but professional lady approached me and asked if I had been helped. Without going into detail, I said, "Not really." She was wonderful. She guided me to a comfortable place to wait and shortly came to get me when a table was ready. She did a fantastic job of making me feel welcome and making sure things were good, even bringing a course or two herself. I wish I had gotten her name... she deserves recognition from higher management. My server was a delight. I believe she had already worked a long day and yet was happy to be there. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and interacted in a pleasant manner. I started with a cheese board. It was a great selection of items and well presented. The Pecan salad had great flavor and a generous serving size. I opted for the ribeye for a main course. It had great flavor and was cooked a perfect med/rare. I topped it off with the bread pudding. It was a great choiceMore infoThe Chalkboard Kitchen + Bar - TulsaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Tulsa•4.6
