- MMatthiasSan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I had such a great evening at Giardino Neighborhood Cucina in Lemon Grove. The food was incredible – the Pappardelle Bolognese was rich and flavorful, the Tiramisu was perfect, and the wine selection really brought everything together. Roberto, our server, was amazing—so friendly and attentive. After dinner, we checked out Zest, the wine bistro right next door, owned by the same people as Giardino. Heather was working there and gave us great recommendations for wine, making it a perfect way to end the night. If you’re looking for delicious Italian food, awesome service, and a great spot to relax with a glass of wine, Giardino and Zest are a winning combo. We can’t wait to come back!More infoGiardino Neighborhood CucinaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Lemon Grove•4.7

The pecorino cheese wheel served tables tableside is excellent. As was the chicken parm. Our new go-to Italian restaurantMore infoAromi Italian CuisinePrice: Moderate• Italian• La Mesa•4.7

- AAliciaSan Diego •11 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI wasn't sure what to expect an Christmas Eve. I once again chose one of the specials- Stuffed Seabass. The food was excellent as usual. But what surprised me was how well the chaos was organized. It was crazy busy but every patron was taken care of with a smile, expediency, and efficiency. My honey and I were led (at our reservation time, not late) to a tucked away corner where we could enjoy our meal without shouting at each other. This is a great restaurant to celebrate holidays, special occasions or any regular day.More infoBrigantine La MesaPrice: Moderate• Seafood• La Mesa•4.8

Ordered the Mushroom Ravioli today, but we’ve had the Paella, Pasta, and Veef plate with mashed potatoes and we want to kiss the chef every time.More infoLemon Grove BistroPrice: Moderate• American• Lemon Grove•4.9
