Best Cozy Restaurants in Madras

Staff was amazing! They were everywhere but not at all distracting or intrusive. Probably the best team I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. Food was ok. I ordered filet Oscar and I think there was about a tablespoon of crab on the meat, and the bearnase sauce overwhelmed most other items on the plate. Could not tase the crab and just too much sauce in general. Would not order that dish again.

Great brunch (or breakfast) spot. Had breakfast at McKay's Cottage on Thursday where I ordered the same meal as I did at Roam -- Eggs Benedict, no Canadian bacon, swapped the English muffing for a biscuit, both came with a side of crispy fried potatoes. On a scale of 1 to 10, McKay's version was 4.5 versus Roam's 10. Roam is less expensive too! Service was excellent (thank you, Lily!). Only downside was that it was drafty every time someone opened the door to go in or out. Will make this my go to brunch spot in town.

We enjoyed our first visit so much we returned for a second visit on Valentine’s Day. Very busy , yet food and service was very good, they staff is very eager to please, with great food equals a winner evening out!

The service was exceptional. The food was delicious. The atmosphere in the Pink Pony Room was fun and quirky. I recommend Hawkeye and Huckleberry to anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion.

Incredible atmosphere and design. The service was top notch. The food was delicious, the only wish I have was that there was a few more allergy friendly options.
