Mia Francesca features the zesty, earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio. It was one of the first restaurants in Chicago to encourage the lively art of dining with a contemporary, casually sophisticated trattoria ambiance, simple, rustic cooking, friendly service, and fair prices.Waiting for a table at the beautiful antique bar is part of the charm of Mia Francesca. The plush upstairs dining room and lounge can be reserved for private events, as can the more intimate coach house tucked away behind the restaurant. Roman’s selection of 120 day wet-aged, grass-fed black angus beef cuts are grilled on an Argentinian parrilla at a slightly lower temperature and for a longer period of time – similar to the Patagonian method of barbecuing crafted by Buenos Aires-born celebrity chef, Francis Mallmann. Had a FABULOUS birthday dinner at Mia Francesca. Shared the asparagus salad, which was very fresh and delicious. Had the rigatoni alla vodka and rolli alla Francesca (in-house made pasta!) entrees. Both were exceptionally well-prepared. (Honestly, the rolli was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in years.) Portion sizes were more than generous. Split the profiteroles for dessert, and they were the perfect end to dinner. Wine list was good. Our waiter, Rene, was on top of things the entire dinner. Atmosphere was wonderful. Will definitely return and bring our family/friends!

Four folks in our group. All ordered a different entree. Everyone raved about their food. We shared two desserts, both were delicious...the warm apple turnover and the banana's foster. Very busy with some private groups behind pop up screens. Wait staff and the associates were very efficient and timely.....nice group of folks at surrounding table made for a fun evening.

I had an incredible dining experience at Artango Steakhouse. The filet mignon was truly exceptional one of the best I’ve ever had in the Chicago area. It was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. Unlike many other steakhouses, the portion size was generous and filling, which I greatly appreciated. The drinks were also fantastic and complemented the meal beautifully. Although there was a brief delay in the arrival of our steaks, our waiter, Nenad, handled the situation with professionalism and charm. About 20 minutes after our appetizer, he approached our table on behalf of the chef to apologize and graciously offered complimentary empanadas. They were a delightful addition and more than made up for the wait. Overall, Artango Steakhouse exceeded my expectations. The food, service, and atmosphere all came together to create a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

We had a nice experience! The food was delicious. We enjoyed the course spacing from the herring, chicken liver, eggplant, borscht, dumpling, and pork belly. All very tasty! We used to frequent Parachute so we were excited to try Anelya. The only downside was we were seated by a window and the cold air from outside was blowing on us and we were freezing!
