Best Cozy Restaurants in Countryside

Food here is incredible. Server was friendly but not exceptional. Bussing was aggressive- removing plates as last bites were still being chewed and water glasses over filled. Dessert here is the best! Don’t miss the butter cake. One of my favorite restaurants around!

The duck confit was perfect, never had better duck in my life. Gnochhi and Chantelle mushrooms was outstanding too although the gnocchi itself was flavorless (the sauce and mushrooms mad cup for it). Scallops were good but oversalted. Waiter was great. good wine recommendations. Happy to have a place like this in Western Suburbs. too few options for a great meal like this

Ate at Lucca’s on a very busy Valentine’s Day evening. Although the entire restaurant was bustling we still thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We started with a manhattan cocktail and a pomegranate margarita which were fine. After drinks we ordered the bruschetta appetizer and found it to be delicious. The finely chopped tomatoes made it light and tasty. For entrees we ordered the chicken calabrese which was surprisingly spicy but anticipated a spicier entree as it does have calabrese peppers. We also ordered a pizza that was 1/2 gringo loco and calabrese. A combination of two of their specialty pizzas. I enjoyed the calabrese pizza more. Overall our waitress was great, and even though it was busy, we were happy with our service. Definitely would patronize again in the future.
