Best Cozy Restaurants in Butchertown

My mom and I were celebrating mom's 80 th birthday. I had put notes on the online reservation that it was mom's birthday and that we would like to be seated next to the window in the rotating section. Our server, Faith, did an outstanding job of recommending appetizers and entrees. We had the hallumi cheese and the crab cakes appetizers and the salmon entrees. Everything we ordered was prepared to perfection. I asked for the salmon well done and crispy on the outside and it was FANTASTIC. Mom got the key lime tart as her birthday surprise with a candle and happy birthday written in a chocolate piece ontop!!! I got the chocolate cake. The key lime tart was better than any we had in Florida!!!. The cake was decadant and the size of the entire plate. Faith has the best customer service skills and was very attentive and engaging. Honestly she made our night so enjoyable, along with the spectacular view of Louisville sunset and Ohio river and OFCOURSE the DELICIOUS cuisine. The other servers that took our empty plates and refilled our drinks were so attentive as well. Thank you for making this occasion so special and taking such good care of us.

Our server was super sweet and attentive! And the gentlemen who brought out the sparkler for my husbands birthday was very thoughtful of our toddler being scared of the sparks. Overall, great experience.

The best service I have had out in a restaurant this year

Our waitress was attentive. She did a good job! The food was fantastic. They serve cornbread before the meal and it was like having dessert. They serve it warm with butter. I had the shrimp and halibut cheeks with polenta. Michael had the steak with crab. His meal came with a macaroni cake which was delicious. Michael’s steak was cooked perfectly and my meal was wonderful. Reasonable priced for an upscale restaurant! After our dinner we sat at the bar and had an after dinner drink!

In Louisville for the weekend and so happy we went to DiFabio’s for dinner. The best Italian meal we have had in a long time! Highly recommend for anyone looking for high quality food and great service!!!
