- RRobynPortland / Oregon •19 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAfter two years of having Thanksgiving Dinner at a large and noisy chain restaurant, we opted for King Tide this year. We had not been here before, and it was a great first impression. It was the perfect low-key Thanksgiving we needed. The food was top-notch, and the service was low-key but just right. We'll definitely be back to try out brunch and maybe lunch or dinner some other time. My son and husband had the turkey dinner special and they were both pleased with the quality of the meal. I ordered the special individual beef wellington along with a wedge salad from the regular menu. I am hooked on the wedge salad - it is the best I have ever had with the flavors/seasoning in the dressing. The beef wellington was great. I had never had beef wellington before (but I've definitely seen recipes for it), but it was delicious. For dessert we each tried a different dessert and shared bites with each other - the King Tide sundae, the Basque cheesecake and the pecan pie. All 3 were great! The restaurant opened at 2pm and our reservation was a 2pm, so there was no wait to be seated and our food arrived quickly.More infoKing Tide Fish & ShellPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.3
- LLynnSacramento / Sacramento Valley •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoAmazing Thanksgiving meal - every bite was delicious. And the cocktails too. We ate outside with a dog, and it was cold in spite of the heat lamps, but otherwise it was a simply perfect dining experience! Loved the decor inside, especially the framed handwritten recipes from the owner's grandmother (reminded me of ones I have from my grandmother!)More infoScreen Door - Pearl DistrictPrice: Moderate• Southern• Pearl District•4.7
- BBarbPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet today. Everything was perfect, except the salmon was a little fishy-tasting. The greeters and waitpersons were friendly and helpful. It didn't feel hurried or rushed even though all seating times were sold out. We definitely would keep this on our list for next year.More infoBrix - Downtown PortlandPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Downtown•4.6
- AArdenSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were lucky enough to snag a table at the chef’s counter which is really a curved bar. We had an excellent experience with Ivan recommending half pours with each course. All the food was stellar, especially the sturgeon and duck confit. Don’t miss the orange cake. We love this place!More infoL'OrangePrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Southeast Portland•4.9
- DDavidCalifornia Central Coast •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoBorn into an Italian family, we wanted to experience an authentic meal. My wife and I were in town visiting our son for a few days and we said let's go eat at Mama Mia Trattoria. To summarize our meal and experience, the ambiance was perfect, the food was over the top and the ingredients were fresh, perfectly cooked, and tasty. The value of what one pays for this restaurant is a great deal. We will be back and Gracie!More infoMama Mia TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• Downtown•4.3
