Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Savage

Parmesan walleye is always outstanding! Creole pasta is quickly becoming a new dinner favorite, too. Also recommend the Tavern Old Fashioned.

Although the server was knowledge about gluten allergies there was no clear information on the menu about gluten free options.

We have frequented several Hazelwood restaurants around the Twin Cities and all uphold high standards we have for one of our favorite spots. This visit was no different. We brought long-time friends with us and it was their first time--of course they loved everything as well. The Walleye is fresh and delicious and they all opted for gouda hashbrowns instead of the rice. The roasted chicken was tender and flavorful. As someone who has a dairy allergy, I put my trust in the servers to protect my wellbeing. Our server here took great care of me and even suggested switching out the mashed potatoes for their amazing brussel sprouts! If only I could make their brussel sprouts at home!-- So good! 😋 We had a wonderful meal, drinks, and visit thanks to the great folks at the Bloomington Hazelwood.

We popped in for a quick midweek meal and were seated in the side room of the To La Bay Hazelwood for the first time. Perfect! Casual, the bowl game was in the TV next to us, our server Tommy was great, and our two post-holiday salads were delicious! What more could you ask for! We’ll be back!

Didn't realize that this is the hotel bar. However, after finding some easy on-street parking, our group welcomed a quiet place to gather and share some interesting non-overpriced food and non-stingy drinks before seeing a show at the Ordway. Service was perfect.
