Best Casual Restaurants in The Palms Hotel & Casino

Food was excellent as always. The bartender was also our waiter for our table, I think he forgot about us. When food was delivered, he did not come back to see if we needed refills on our drinks. He was keeping busy at the bar and I get it, seemed like short staffing was the issue. Finally another waitress noticed us and came over to ask if we needed anything else. By then we were finished eating . The food was delicious and portions were large. We will return the next time we are in town. Thank you!

Amazing Sushi and Exceptional Service! Umiya is hands down the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to! The quality and freshness of the sushi are unmatched, with every bite bursting with incredible flavor. The staff went above and beyond exceeded our expectations on many levels. We were taking a very important trip helping our daughter check off boxes on her bucket list and she’s in hospice. Unfortunately, she was turned off by the risotto which Mom and I tried. It was fabulous. The server all begged her to pick a different option And after some convincing by the server who was amazing she finally did and she loved it. He was on top of making sure her every need was Met along with the rest of us, but he knew that this was on her bucket list and I briefed him privately on what this trip was Him and the remaining staff went out of the way to make this the best meal we’ve ever had I’ve been in the food industry for over 25 years and this staff far exceeded my wildest dreams, extremely professional, prompt, courteous, and respectful, absolutely amazed, almost brought me and my wife to tears with the amount of care for her specifically he added some special touches along with this management approval. I’m sure when I asked to speak to the manager because service like this just doesn’t seem to exist anymore. She already knew who we were by name and he already knew what was going on. She also was amazing. She thanked me for taking time because unfortunately, there’s a lot of Karen’s and Ken’s out there That just wanna complain and I had to stress that they needed. Every expectation we ever had absolutely amazing experience I think I left the largest tip. I’ve left in probably 20 years because I couldn’t believe how amazing they were had hurt and smile. The whole time we got home and my princess absolutely passed out. She pushed herself too hard. She ate too much but she had an amazing evening. Thank you so much to the staff that we had at Hells kitchen You truly helped us check off one of my baby girls bucket list items cannot say enough nice things about them.

On a VERY busy night at the Palms Casino where wait times for most restaurants were 30 minutes plus and the buffet had a super long line, the Laguna located off the casino floor was a very nice peaceful and quiet alternative. The service was great and the food and drinks delicious. One drawback….it closes at 8 pm.
