Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier.     Had a wonderful experience at Rengaya Burwood. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They took the time to take a photo of the table reserved for us and messaged me in advance to ensure that it met our expectations. Since we were celebrating a birthday, I requested a slightly bigger table, and they kindly accommodated my request. Their consideration made our celebration more special. Highly recommend this restaurant for the excellent service!

    Food, service and cocktails were perfect. Attentive staff, amazing location and views. Was a very hot day with limited sea breeze so a little uncomfortable at times. A couple of fans on the deck would’ve assisted. Overall we had a lovely time with friends and fantastic food.
