Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. We made a reservation to do the Rice Table. We arrived right when they opened since our reservation was at 5pm. The ambience is casual with nice decor. The Rice Table includes a tremendous amount of food and an excellent variety. All of the chili sauces were perfect condiments for the dishes. Some of our favorites were the satay, the roti, and the clams, but everything truly was delicious and the staff was fantastic - everyone was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. We really loved our experience. My parents were born and raised in Indonesia so we grew up eating the "real stuff" and it was wonderful to be able to have high quality versions of the dishes that we grew up with. One of the chili sauces was something that my Mom used to make all of the time. It was such a lovely taste of home done so well.
