Spinnerstown Hotel is a restaurant serving rustic local cuisine in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The dining areas of are divided into 3 parts. The first is a casual soapstone bar and wooden booth-lined taproom, with 18 rotating beers on tap and a simple, rustic atmosphere. The second is a handsomely homey dining room (sans TV) complete with a fireplace, stone walls and hand painted ceiling. The third is an outside barn-like deck with vaulted ceilings. The cuisine is simple farmhouse fare, but with its own modern twist. Diners will find house-made burgers, Belgian-style mussels and hearty entrées like the in-house butchered boneless rib eye or hand rolled gnocchi. In addition to these standards, the menu is constantly under development, using fresh, seasonal ingredients to consistently create new dishes.     Thanksgiving Dinner at The Washington House was the way to go for this party of two! Caitlyn was our server and she was pleasant, attentive, and efficient. the price fixed menu had sufficient choices to suit our tastes. We enjoyed trying a few dishes we had never tried before and were not disappointed. The restaurant was busy and yet there was not an excessive noise level in the front dining room where we were seated. We'll be returning on Christmas Eve for their price fixed luncheon menu which is also a favorite of ours!

    This was the first time we ate out for Thanksgiving. Farmhouse restaurant is very quaint and small and cozy. Especially with the fireplace on. That said the stage for all the delicious food that they served from our appetizers of roasted brussels sprouts, cheese spread, and calamari. to the turkey dinners, salmon, and delicious crabcakes. Everything was wonderful.

    The bar is very nice and we were served great cocktails. Enjoyed an excellent JAI wedge salad and salmon entree. My wife enjoyed the scallops entree. A very relaxing dinner and excellent service from Tina who took great care of us.

    My foodie restaurant industry girlfriend and NYC raised I went to this restaurant for the first time. It was recommended on a Reddit chat for special occasions. We go out every week in the Lehigh Valley area and minus a few of our favorites, have been mostly disappointed by our meals. Well this was definitely not the case last night. From the moment our server Nicholas came to our table we knew we were in for a treat. He was very personable and knowledgeable helping us guide through the menu. Everything we had made us go WOW! including the onion soup, twin filets, scallops, and peach pie! Truly top notch taste and presentation coupled with our great server made for a truly memorable evening. We are definitely going to make the Spinnerstown Hotel a regular part of our weekly dinners!
