Best Casual Restaurants in Oakland Park

The ambiance is energetic, the food value is there in portion size, and the flavors are on point. It's not the place for a quiet, romantic meal, and the vibe definitely caters to a younger crowd but no complaints. It was very crowded (Valentine's Day), and a group of 5 waiting for a table decided to stand so close to our table that they might as well have joined us. I asked the server if she could perhaps ask them, politely, to move closer to the bar. She graciously asked a manager who came by a few minutes later and asked if they could clear the area for the servers. They moved away--the staff handled the matter deftly and we were quite pleased (Thank you!!). We'd certainly dine here again when visiting Ft Lauderdale (or elsewhere they're located).

Loved Camille’s and our waitress, Mary, was awesome! Valentine’s Day 5:30 reservation (only time we could get). We started with the Beet Salad and Grigliata mista. My wife loves beet salad and if it’s on the menu, she can’t resist! I was fabulous! Those beets along with, pistachio’s and arugula, and the creamy, wonderful cheese underneath. Holy Cow! Delicious. I wasn’t expecting the Griglia Mista to be fried, but it was wonderful. Very light breading and the dipping sauce was out perfect. Home run on the apps. Those plates were cleared and then 3 perfectly sized garlic rolls came straight from Heaven…I mean the kitchen. Some restaurants give baseball or softball sized rolls. Too big…these were perfectly sized and flavored. Left plenty of room for the meal. For the meal entree, I had the pasta special with shrimp, mussels, and clams. Home made noodles and a perfect sauce. My wife had the salmon piccata - She loved every bite. Everything was prepared spot on. We will be going back to Camille’s. Making a reservation for next month when my daughter comes for a visit.

We were first timer really wasn’t expecting that much of a great view. Everything was perfect to spend our Valentine’s Day with the rooftop outside experience. Will definitely go back for the outside dining.

Once you arrive, the Valet Parking team greets you kindly and parks your vehicle. Since we had a reservation, we sat down right away. Our waitress was extremely kind and service overall was exceptional. Music was lively and volume level was not an issue for us. Since we've been to this restaurant a few times before, I just wish their Tapas menu had more variety. Nevertheless, all of the dishes we tried were excellent. Can't wait to go back for the food and the experience.

We were seated quicking and had a reservation. Beautiful waterfront dining on the intercoastal waterway. Our server Ashley was excellent, friendly and very attentive. We were not rushed although the place filled up quickly. Ordered the sushi as an appy then went with their their fresh fish entrees. truely fresh and delicious. Portions were generous. For dessert we had the cheescake and the 5 layer chocolate cake. We were told all desserts were baked on premises by their pastry chef and it showed. The chocolate cake was HUGE for $ 14 no way to even attempt to finish it. If I had to pick on one item, not their fault, the sunset was blocked by a high building acroos the waterway.
