Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Really nice staff, good was really nice, only down side is a I booked a table at 21:30 and was told the kitchen shut at 22:00 so if we wanted desserts we would have to order at same time as ordering our mains! Just not sure why you would allow a table to be booked at 21:30 if you kitchen shuts 30 minutes after that, the staff were extremely nice though and didn’t rush us but was always in the back of our minds that they were closing soon

Our family went to celebrate our Dads heavenly birthday. It’s was his special place 🙏🏼 All staff went the extra mile to make sure we had a lovely evening making us feel comfortable knowing it was a hard day for us. The food was cooked to perfection too.

Went for the Carvary on Sunday 4th Nov. the lady that waited on us was absolutely amazing! She made us feel so welcome - very attentive. The drinks came quickly and my daughters fish and chips came out quickly too, that was average. The carvary was lovely - the beef was a little dry but the gammon and all the trimmings made up for it. Really good value for money - there was 5 of us and the bill came to £80 - x2 drinks each and my two kids had a pudding each. Good value in our opinion.

Second time at Alora and we tried the Sunday roast. Was the best roast we have ever had. Great value for money and good quantity. Lovely service and made to feel very special (on my birthday). Will definitely be visiting again soon
