We are locals and regulars and we had another great dining experience at Meril: Martini and Old Fashioned excellently-crafted cocktails, shared Tuna Wraps, Red Snapper and Ribeye entrees, with sides of Mexican Corn and Gen Tsos Broccoli, and complemented by glasses of Rioja. As always, the team service was attentive and efficient, and seating hostesses were friendly and professional. Meril has the whole package, a great Warehouse District bistro.

We had such a wonderful experience there! Of course, the food was incredible. You don't need me to tell you that. The cuisine has been written about pretty much everywhere. What you may not know is how well the staff take care of you from start to finish. We were greeted, and waited by a genuinely kind, joyful and learned staff. They made us feel at home to the extent that we had to drag ourselves away at the end of our meal.

The moment you step into this culinary gem, you're transported to the vibrant crossroads of Israeli and Mediterranean cuisine in the heart of New Orleans. The combination of hummus and fried chicken here is nothing short of exceptional – silky smooth with a perfect balance of tahini and lemon, creating a velvety canvas for the other dishes then chicken is added expertly seasoned with aromatic Middle Eastern spices, remains remarkably tender and juicy, paying homage to time-honored cooking traditions. In a city renowned for its culinary diversity, this establishment stands out as an authentic beacon of Israeli-Mediterranean excellence, offering a dining experience that feels both sophisticated and warmly familiar.
