- RReneeVIPSan Antonio •17 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoConsistently great food, attentive waitstaff, and lovely atmosphere. They offer two portion sizes for most entrees and I usually get the smaller which I find, in most cases, is more than enough. I've had the Denver beef several times and really enjoyed it as well as the corn pudding it comes with. And, to start with we had the chicken fried oysters which I literally crave, they're so delicious. Highly recommend!More infoBiga on the BanksPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.8
- JJackHouston •5 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 2, 2025We had such a great experience the first night of our stay that we cancelled the dinner reservations we scheduled earlier. We travel and eat out often and we love the ambience, the music, the cocktails and the food is over the top. The eggs Benedict for breakfast was excellent. Most of the menu items are handcrafted! We had 4 different servers at 4 different meals and they were all great! They were friendly and very knowledgeable not to mention highly professional. - GGeraldSan Antonio •11 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 1, 2025We ate at Fogo de Chão on New Year’s Day to start our 2025 and it was very good. The restaurant was busier than I expected but the three of us had a reservation so not to worry. The staff brought my 101 year old mother the salt-free lamb chops that she always requests which were a bit overcooked but still tender and delicious. My friend and I enjoyed the other various cuts of beef, and we all enjoyed the salad bar and the sides… especially the little cheese breads. We’ve tried the cheese breads at other Brazilian restaurants but the best ones are at Fogo. The only negative was the very last cut of meat for me which was a chunk of picaña instead of a slice. It was very fibrous and hard to cut but I suppose that was because it was a remaining portion of the meat instead of a sliced piece. Other than that, we had a very good experience once again and we will be back! P.S. I forgot to take any pictures this time because I was enjoying the food a little too much.More infoFogo de Chao - San AntonioPrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Downtown•4.3
- KKimSan Antonio •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024The cuisine is a very high quality Michelin standard. The head maitre d’ was professionally dressed and excellent. The assistant maitre d’ needs to pay attention to dress and hair style. The waiter was very good. We were seated outside. Halfway through dinner service a couple with a very large labradoodle was seated across from us. The odor, pet dander, and whining from the animal almost ruined the dinner. The waiter and maitre d’ quickly reseated us to a quite elegant corner inside. That completely transformed the dining experience. Be cognizant of pet owners and animals allowed in the outside dining area.More infoZocca Cuisine d'ItaliaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown•3.9
