- PPatty JoHouston •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur server, Maurice, was excellent. I appreciated the cadence with which he checked in on our table but, more importantly, his recommendations were outstanding. I do not think we would have ever considered the octopus but he was right by describing it as the best in the city. Otherwise, our table had a steak special, two different pizzas and the Vingole pasta. Besides the four cheese pizza not listing the hot honey on the menu, we all loved our meals, including the sweet panna cotta for my birthday.More infoTrattoria SofiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Heights / Washington•4.5
- NNikoleHouston •15 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe arrived for a reservation at 5:45pm and let our server, Steph, know that we had theater tickets and she made sure we were served, not rushed, and out in time to catch our Uber to the theater. The food was delicious and Steph was so nice which made the experience that much better!More infoHudson House - River OaksPrice: Moderate• American• River Oaks•4.7

- DDavidHouston •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoBar Doko is a fun experience for people who want a more unique experience from the typical offerings here in Houston. A lot of their cocktails lean on more umami flavors, and highlights the Japanese influence this bar incorporates. That being said, some people may not enjoy that approach, but for those that do, will have a fun and unique experience. They source very specific ingredients for their drinks and quality shows in the taste. I highly recommend the "ei" eternity cocktail, which incorporates a wagyu fat wash with the whiskey and is apparent in the overall flavor of the drink, alongside the mushroom garnish complimenting the umami flavors. The imo negroni is a fun spin on the familiar compari bitterness with a sweet potato spin. Will definitely come back and try other items soon!More infoBar DokoPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Montrose•4.8
- CChristyVIPTexas Panhandle •18 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food, wine, and cocktails were incredible. The bartender was our waiter and he gave the best service we have probably ever had anywhere! He was very knowledgeable about the food and drink options, and gave great pairing recommendations. The ambiance was wonderful and the meal was outstanding. This was a wonderful experience and we will be back soon!More infoZanti Cucina Italiana - River OaksPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• River Oaks•4.7
