During the last one hundred years it has been, at one time or another, home to various taverns, restaurants and even back room gambling for railroaders. Fabulous birthday lunch. We each ordered something different. The birthday girl really enjoyed her hamburger. The second gal liked the walleye, but thought a lot of breading. My chicken salad was good, but preferred last year’s preparation more. The apple pie was a surprise winner, as we weren’t sure about the addition of bacon.

While visiting Vail we came across this gem in Vail Village. Excellent menu, excellent service. Comfortable ambiance and lively bar. Nice craft cocktails and wine. The apps were great. We were a party of 7 and all of our entrees from Burgers to Salmon was excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed the evening even though it started out difficult. We had one in our party in a wheelchair and noted that on the reservation, but they initially tried to seat us upstairs. They did find a place for us on the patio. Restrooms were downstairs and inaccessible.
